3) Good electrical connections are required for N & HO trains to run
smoothly. We recommend that you solder your transformer track power wires
directly to your track. If you have a permanent layout, it is a good idea
to solder all your track connections together too.

4) If you are planning a permanent layout, plan it carefully and consider all
options. Decide whether or not you would like to run large locomotives in
the future that require large radius curves.
